The Women Cell of Indira Gandhi College of Arts and Science is dedicated to promoting awareness, empowerment, and well-being of women on campus. The cell works towards creating a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages confidence, equality, and personal growth among students and staff.

Through awareness programmes, interactive sessions, workshops, and outreach activities, the Women Cell addresses issues related to women’s rights, health, safety, and leadership. The cell strives to inspire positive change and nurture a culture of respect and mutual understanding within the institution.

Women Cell

Women cell is a voluntary association aimed at empowering the girl students and rendering support when needed. It is one of the vibrant non-academic associations in our college.

The women’s cell looks after the safety of all girl students, lady teachers, and other women staff members on the campus. It also mediates solving any kind of gender-based physical, mental, or psychological harassment faced by any woman whether staff or student inside the campus.
